Steering Committee
A Steering Committee has been formed to lead a new proposal effort. A request for nominations was sent to the mailing lists of COMPRES, GSECARS, and the Mineralogical Society of America and received an excellent response. The committee includes:
Eight at-large members from a broad range of Earth science disciplines and synchrotron techniques
Four members of the COMPRES Executive Committee
Four members of the GSECARS staff
Two COMPRES PIs from geographically diverse synchrotron facilities.
Tom Duffy was chosen by the committee to be chair.
UPDATE (10/5/2021): After a wide search, Andrew Campbell has joined our effort and will serve as PI of the proposal!
